Our story — from local installer to nationwide water authority
The Filter Guy Limited started over two decades ago with a simple promise: clean, safe drinking water shouldn’t be a luxury for New Zealand families and businesses. What began as a small residential installation business in Auckland has grown into one of New Zealand’s most trusted water filtration brands, with more than 1,800 successful installations across the North Island and Christchurch.
Led by Director David Jenner and lead engineer JK Lenaduwa, our team has installed everything from single under-sink reverse osmosis units in Wellington apartments to large gravity-fed RO plants for the Plant & Food Research facility — aproject that delivered laboratory-grade water below 5 µS/cm and reduced long-term service costs by 70%.
Today we operate as part of a wider NZ water filtration group that also includes Membrane Solutions NZ (high-performance RO, UF & Nanofiltration membranes for commercial and municipal projects) and Wholesale Filters NZ (our online catalogue of replacement cartridges, RO membranes and accessories with same-day NZ-wide dispatch).
